Who is responsible and how to contact us
Smart Vision operates the website and event processes for Forex Traders Expo & Summit Dubai. Privacy enquiries can be sent to the official contact email shown above.
Information we collect
Information may include your name, email address, phone number, country, company, job title, visitor type, messages or sponsorship-enquiry details, plus campaign-attribution parameters such as UTM values when present.
Why we use the information
We use information to manage registrations, operate the event, respond to enquiries, manage sponsorship requests, send participation-related communications, protect forms from abuse, and improve website and event operations.
Attendee-data sharing
Registration data is not provided to sponsors as a package entitlement. Sponsorship benefits may include aggregated, non-identifiable attendee insights. Any future sharing of identifiable attendee details with a sponsor will require a separate, clear and specific opt-in or another lawful basis permitted by applicable data-protection law, with appropriate notice and controls.
Service providers and third parties
We use service providers needed to operate the website and event, which may include hosting, email, analytics and technical providers. For accepted visitor registrations, registration details are transmitted to Hudur, the invitation-delivery service used to issue event invitations by email and WhatsApp. Providers should receive only the information necessary for their service and are expected to handle it under appropriate contractual and security controls. Where a provider processes data outside the UAE, transfers are handled subject to the safeguards and requirements of applicable data-protection law. External links are governed by the third party’s own policies.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for event operations and relevant legal or business requirements, then delete it or reduce retention when there is no longer a legitimate need. Technical and organisational safeguards are used to reduce unauthorised access risks, although no system can be guaranteed absolutely secure.
Your choices and policy updates
Subject to applicable law and relevant exceptions, you may contact us to request information about processing, access or correction of your data, erasure where applicable, restriction or cessation of processing, objection, data transfer where applicable, or withdrawal of consent where processing relies on consent. You may also ask about recipients, retention criteria and cross-border safeguards. This policy may be updated as the website, event services or requirements change; the published version is the current version.
